It can be challenging to know how to navigate your health, especially for what feels like the little things. Whether it's seeing someone for your annual check-up, taking a peek at that pesky rash on your elbow or learning how to get ready for your first colonoscopy — these are considered your primary health needs. And, a primary care provider can help you meet those needs, guiding you through the big and little things. When you select a primary care provider, you are choosing a partner who is with you at every point of your health journey — from your best self to when you need comfort and guidance. When a provider knows your history, you can walk more confidently into an appointment knowing realistic goals will be made, and you can celebrate success together because your provider knows how far you've come.

A brain dead man has breathed new life into a Covid patient with severe lung infection and given new hope to a young Mumbai woman after his lungs and hands were transplanted to the respective donors. Incidentally, the hands were airlifted to Mumbai with the hope of giving the woman a real pair of limbs after she lost her hands in a train accident in Ghatkopar on January 12, The transplant that benefited more than one recipient was made possible due to the donation from the deceased, who was declared brain dead by doctors at Gleneagles Global Hospital in Chennai after intracerebral hemorrhage on Thursday, hospital sources said. While Global Hospital Chennai retained the liver, the heart, lungs, kidneys and skin were donated to different hospitals in the city.
