The JOTI Jamboree on the Internet Special Edition officially kicked-off today showcasing its energetic, educational and dynamic online programme organised for young people, as a response to the Covid global pandemic. During this time of social distancing, this special JOTI is taking place from April and aims to connect young people from around the world, while staying at home, in a programme predominantly designed around mental health, crisis response and global citizenship. The opening show also marked a memorable moment for World Scouting as it launched a renewed partnership with The UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR, through a live virtual signing of their partnerships, while highlighting the impact of the global pandemic on the most vulnerable communities. Among the topics that young people are engaging in, is self-care for our mental health, staying safe online, design thinking for social media, introduction to nutrition, how to create a Covid awareness video by UNFPA, Disaster Risk Reduction, and many more. Many young people around the world are sharing photos of their blanket-tents, as they joined the EpicBlanketTent challenge launched by JOTI on social media earlier this week, giving young people a memorable camp-from-home experience as they take part in the event.
If you are willing to take part in a new project and live a unique experience , AVI Moldova invites you to apply for a workcamp in Russian Federation! What is a workcamp about? It is a unique form of volunteering, bringing together people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds to live and work together with local communities for a period of two to three weeks.
