The training program emphasizes both outpatient and inpatient care of adults with congenital heart disease. Trainees gain experience in specialized ACHD care including the management of ACHD patients with arrhythmias, pregnancy, heart failure, those needing advanced heart failure therapy, cardiac and non-cardiac surgery.
